Two people were hurt while escaping a fire in Southwest Philadelphia.

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Firefighters were called out to battle a blaze in Southwest Philadelphia.



The fire started around 10:40 a.m. Sunday on the 5700 block of Grays Avenue.



Police say a man in his 20s and a woman in her 50s jumped from a third story window in an effort to escape the fire.



The woman was burned on her hand and complained of neck, back and leg pain.



Both were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital.



There is no word on what caused the fire.
