Martin Luther King Drive reopens after flooding

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Flooding forced the temporary closure of a portion of Martin Luther King Drive in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park.

Heavy rains and winds came through the Philadelphia area Thursday afternoon.

The storm caused a tree to fall on a car in Greenville, Delaware injuring two people.

Strong winds were also being blamed for a roof collapse in West Conshohocken, Pa.

And flooding near the Schuylkill River closed a section of Martin Luther King Drive for several hours.

It was back open by 11 p.m. Thursday.
