A city in New Mexico made enough nachos to feed a small army -- and then some!
Folks in Las Cruces constructed a massive nacho supreme that checked in at a whopping 5,039 pounds, setting a Guinness World Record for the largest serving of nachos.
The gooey platter was comprised of 900 pounds of tortilla chips, 450 pounds of salsa, and 2,200 pounds of cheese, according to a press release sent out by the city of Las Cruces. The feast was part of the towns "Noche de Nachos" celebration which was open to the public for a fee of $15.
According to the city's Facebook page, nachos not consumed by spectators were delivered to the Gospel Rescue Mission.
