Former N.J. fire chief sentenced to prison for child porn

AUDUBON, N.J. (WPVI) -- The former chief of the Audubon Park Volunteer Fire Company is heading to prison.

On Friday, a Camden County judge ordered a 6-year sentence for John Terruso.

The 46-year-old recently pleaded guilty to child pornography charges.

Prosecutors say he used a fire station computer to view and distribute the disturbing images and videos.

After serving his sentence Terruso will be forced to register as a sex offender.
