Suspect arrested in Olney gas station armed robbery

OLNEY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have arrested a suspect who they say robbed a man at gunpoint in a gas station parking lot in the city's Olney section.

25-year-old Kashmir Wiggins, from the 1900 block of North Croskey Avenue, turned himself into authorities on Tuesday.

Police say Wiggins was part of a group who surrounded a 25-year-old man and robbed him at gunpoint outside of the Dbeera Fuels gas station on the 5300 block of Rising Sun Avenue back on October 1.

The crime was caught on surveillance, and police were able to link Wiggins to the scene after running a record check on the vehicle seen in the video.

Wiggins has been charged with with robbery and related offenses.
