Police have identified the man who was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Gloucester Township, Camden County, as the search for the driver continues.

Police have identified the man who was critically injured in a hit-and-run in Gloucester Township, Camden County, as the search for the driver continues.

The victim is Kevin Trant, 23, of Edgemere Court in Gloucester Township. Police say he is hospitalized in critical but stable condition with a number of broken bones and a punctured lung.

The incident happened at 10 p.m. Sunday on Sickerville Road near the intersection of Jarvis Road near the Strawberry Square Shopping Center.

Police believe the striking vehicle was travelling westbound on Sicklerville Road. Police say the driver did not stop.

Investigators say the vehicle is believed to have significant front end damage and/or a shattered windshield.

No other description of the vehicle is available at this time, police said.
