Going bald to fight kids' cancer

AVONDALE, Pa. (WPVI) -- A lot of people went bald for a good cause today in southern Chester County.

The Avondale fire company hosted a head-shaving event for the St. Baldrick's foundation.

It supports children's cancer research.

Tammy Whiteman's husband John did the honors shaving her head.

She says being bald is the least she can do to help the brave families battling cancer.
