GREENVILLE, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a serious three car collision in New Castle County.
The accident happened just after 7:00 Thursday morning at the intersection of Barley Mill Road and Montchanin Road in Greenville, Delaware.
According to police, the driver of a 2010 Honda CRV crossed over the center lanes and slammed into an oncoming 2013 Honda Accord and a 2009 Ford F-150 on Route 141.
A 69-year-old woman driving the overturned SUV was trapped in the wreckage, and had to be rescued by emergency crews and state police.
She was rushed by helicopter to Christiana Hospital in serious condition.
The 26-year-old driver of the Accord was also injured, but not seriously.
The 72-year-old driver of the F-150 was no injured.
