1 killed in house fire in Northampton County

EAST ALLEN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Northampton County officials are investigating a fatal house fire in East Allen Township.

The fire broke out around 6 p.m. Friday at a two-and-a-half-story home in the 5700 hundred block of Old Carriage Road.

Officials said it took about two-and-a-half hours to bring the fire under control.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene.

County officials are investigating.
