Site reveals highest paying internships for 2017

An employment website says there are 25 internships that would translate to salaries that are much higher than what an average worker earns in this country.

According to Glassdoor.com, the most lucrative gig for a college student is at Facebook. Interns make about $8,000 a month during their short employment.

That would amount to $96,000 per year if they were employed full-time.

To put that into perspective: the median salary for a full-time worker in the United States is a little more than $51,000.

Many interns also get perks like housing, food, and transportation.
