When it comes to searching for love, tens of millions of people use the app Tinder to swipe their way to a match. Now, a new app promises to let you choose your next job using the same concept.
Switch allows job seekers to go through thousands of potential positions, swiping right if they're interested and left if they're not.
If an employer is interested too, that's a match and the app puts the two parties in touch.
Joe Graham says he found his job at San Jose-based eBay using Switch. "I didn't have to deal with any recruiters or middle people. I went straight to the hiring manager. He had a keen grasp of the type of candidate he was looking for and it was just a very smooth dialogue," he said.
The app's founders say Switch also saves employers time and money by eliminating the need to wade through countless online applications and cover letters.
