Man hospitalized in Kensington shooting

KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- A man was hospitalized after a shooting in Philadelphia's Kensington section.

It happened just after 9:00 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of North Leithgow Street.

Police say the 27-year-old male victim was sitting on the corner when a silver Infinity coupe pulled up and the suspect opened fire.

The victim was struck one time in the right thigh.

He was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

No arrests have been made.
