Lowe's hires veteran and his therapy dog

ABILENE, TX -- A Lowe's store in Texas decided to employ a local veteran, extending the job offer to his service dog as well.

Abilene resident Judy Rose shared a picture of this man and his dog hard at work and the post has since gone viral, garnering nearly 50,000 shares on social media.

Rose says that this man is a retired veteran who had been struggling to get a job because he needs his service dog.

Her post commends the story for hiring them both.
