Ex-employees of Philly abortion doctor sentenced

PHILADELPHIA -- Two former employees of a Philadelphia abortion doctor serving life in prison for killing babies who were born alive have been sentenced for their roles in the case.



Forty-five-year-old phlebotomist Lynda Williams was sentenced Thursday to 5 to 10 years in prison on two counts of third-degree murder.



Forty-eight-year-old receptionist Tina Baldwin was sentenced to 30 months of probation for her guilty plea to sustaining a corrupt organization and other offenses.



Both women testified against Dr. Kermit Gosnell, who was convicted last year in in the killing of babies born alive and viable during illegal late-term abortions and in the overdose death of a patient.



Investigators have described his filthy, rundown clinic as a "house of horrors."
