Man dies after shooting in Kensington

KENSINGTON -- A man has died after a shooting in the Kensington section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 4:30 a.m. Thursday on the 800 block of E. Madison Street.

Police found the victim with a gunshot wound to his chest.

He was rushed to the Temple University Hospital where he later died.

Shell casings were also found littered on the ground.

The incident remains under investigation.
