Man runs for help after being shot in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A 53-year-old man was shot in the stomach in North Philadelphia.

The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 1500 block of North 20th Street.

Police say the victim was shot and ran into his second floor apartment and called for help.

He was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical, but stable condition.

Officers found 1 spent shell at the scene of the shooting.

Police have made no arrests or said a motive.
