More than 1,000 scouts spent Friday honoring what Memorial Day is all about in Wrightstown, New Jersey.

WRIGHTSTOWN, N.J. (WPVI) -- More than 1,000 scouts spent Friday honoring what Memorial Day is all about in Wrightstown, New Jersey.

The Boy Scout, Girl Scout and Cub Scout troops decorated the graves at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

They placed a flag at each of the 58,000 graves.

The scouts received a patch for their community service.
