Man dies after being pulled from burning home in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. -- A Delaware man has died after being pulled from a house fire.

The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office says flames were shooting out of the Millsboro home's windows when firefighters arrived at the scene around 8 p.m. Wednesday. Firefighters with the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company found a man unconscious inside the home and rushed him to the hospital.

The fire marshal's office says the man died shortly after. His name was not immediately released Thursday.

The fire is under investigation.
