Fire at industrial glass factory in Millville, New Jersey

MILLVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) -- A fire broke out at an industrial glass factory in Millville, New Jersey.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. Saturday at Gerresheimer Glass, Inc. in the 1300 block of Wheaton Avenue.

Initial reports indicate that tanks of molten glass ruptured, causing the fire.

No word on any injuries.

According to the company website, the industrial factory specializes in making pharmaceutical bottles, IV bottles, beverage bottles and other kinds of glass containers and jars.
