Operations resume at Montco Community College after gas line hit

BLUE BELL, Pa. (WPVI) -- Things are back to normal at Montgomery County Community College after a gas line was struck on Monday afternoon.

The incident happened just before 3 p.m. at a construction zone on campus.

PECO was called to the scene. Though it was not one of their lines, PECO did shut off the gas until repairs can be made.

The Fine Arts Building was briefly evacuated, but operations resumed a little more than an hour later.
