If you gargle mouthwash more than once a day, you may want to cut back.

Researchers at Harvard found a link between mouthwash and type 2 diabetes.

They studied 1,200 people and found those who used mouthwash two or more times a day were 55-percent more likely to develop diabetes over a three-year period.

They say the mouthwash not only destroys bad bacteria, but it also kills good bacteria that regulates metabolism and blood sugar levels.
