2 injured in I-295 multi-vehicle accident

BURLINGTON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A three-car crash on Interstate 295 in Burlington County has sent two people to the hospital.

It happened in the northbound lanes near the exit for Route 541 in Burlington Township around 3:30 a.m. Sunday.

Firefighters worked for 20 minutes to free one of the drivers.

Two people were rushed to area hospitals for treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation
