New Castle County police officer, civilian injured in collision

STANTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A New Castle County police officer and another driver were injured in a collision in Stanton.

It happened shortly after 7 p.m. Friday at Tolliver Drive and West Newport Pike.

Police say the mangled patrol car ended up on a front lawn.

Authorities have not yet said how badly everyone was hurt or who was at fault.
