Two people have died in a collision on the bike path of the Queensboro Bridge in New York City on Thursday.
At least 16 people were hospitalized Friday afternoon after two airboats collided in Florida Everglades, investigators said.
"In a few seconds, I scrambled out of the way. I was very fortunate. Something bigger than me was watching out," said Ralph Macia, who narrowly missed being struck by an out-of-control car.
Authorities say the railroad bridge will be closed for an extended period of time. It is unclear how long that will last.
Authorities have not released any details on what may have led to this crash.
Authorities say the person driving the scooter was rushed to Christiana Hospital for treatment.
