POINT PLEASANT BEACH, N.J. (WPVI) -- A child pornography dragnet culminated in the arrest of a man who is in the country illegally, prosecutors announced.
Carlos Diaz Rojas, 54, of Point Pleasant Beach, was arrested on Thursday morning.
Investigators in Ocean County say they also seized computers and hard drives containing hundreds of videos and images of young children engaged in sex acts.
He is being held on $100,000 cash bail.
Rojas will also be the subject of an immigration detainer because he is in the U.S. illegally, Prosecutor Joseph Coronato said.
These charges come on the heels of a child porn sweep throughout New Jersey that culminated in 40 arrests.
Coronato said his office is continuing the success of that operation with a continuous cyber child pornography dragnet.
