Driver crashes in wooded area along Route 42 in Gloucester Twp., N.J.

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating a crash along Route 42 in Gloucester Township.

It happened around 8 a.m. Friday near Coles Road.

The driver of a vehicle lost control and ended up in a wooded area next to the highway.

Action News is told one person was trapped in the vehicle for a time before being freed by rescue crews.

There was no immediate word on the number or extent of injuries from the crash.

Police continue to investigate what caused the driver to lose control.
