2 drivers injured after crash on I-95 SB in Newport, Del.

NEWPORT, Del. (WPVI) -- Medics and rescue crews are on the scene of a two-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of Interstate-95 in Newport, Delaware.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m. Friday near Route 141.

One driver was ejected and seriously injured after the car hit a guardrail.

That person is being treated for back injuries.

No word on the other driver's condition.

Only one lane was getting by as crews cleared the crash.
