Some evacuations for West Philly gas main break

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Some residents had to be evacuated for a gas main break in West Philadelphia.

The break was reported just before 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 5500 block of Vine Street.

The incident has since been placed under control.

Officials say the evacuations were ordered as a precaution.

No injuries have been reported.
