CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Seventeen people are out of their homes after a fire tore through several homes in Camden Friday afternoon.
Firefighters were called around 1 p.m. to the 2000 block of High Street.
When crews arrived on the scene they were met by heavy smoke and flames.
There is no word at this time if anyone was injured.
Eleven adults and six children from three families were displaced by the blaze. The Red Cross is providing those families assistance.
Authorities are investigating what may have sparked the fire.
