18-year-old found fatally shot in Townsend, Del.

TOWNSEND, Del. (WPVI) -- Police are investigating the fatal shooting of an 18-year-old in Townsend, Delaware.

Troopers were called around 12:35 a.m. Saturday to the 600 block of Marilyn Court in Townsend Village.

The victim, Dayshon M. Wallace of Wilmington, was found suffering a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have released little information surrounding the circumstances of the shooting but are calling this a death investigation.
