Driver loses control, car lands in creek in Middletown Township

MIDDLETOWN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Pennsylvania State Police are trying to figure out what caused a vehicle to crash into a Delaware County creek.

Chopper 6 was over the scene in Middletown Township Friday afternoon.

The black car veered off of East Knowlton Road just before 1 p.m. and landed on its side in the water.

Police say the driver managed to escape.

It's not clear on whether that person was hurt.
