2 arrested after carjacking, chase in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Two suspected carjackers are in custody after leading police on a brief chase through parts of North Philadelphia.

It all began Wednesday evening.

The Action Cam captured the fleeing vehicle headed north on Broad Street then turning south.

The pursuit ended around 9:00 p.m. at Park and Glenwood streets when the vehicle stopped on the sidewalk.

Both suspects got out of the car and fled but officers quickly nabbed them both.

Police are investigating.
