Burglars looking to score end up with big scare

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (WPVI) -- Three burglars hoping for a big score ended up with a big scare instead.

Home security video captured the bandits breaking down the door of a home in Kansas City, Missouri.

But, soon after they are seen running right back out the door.

It turned out that the homeowner Nathan Engert just happened to be in a back bedroom.

He came face to face with one of them and chased them off.

Engert also happens to be a blue belt in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, so he was ready to protect himself.
