Crozer Chester nurses to go on strike

CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- 600 nurses at Crozer Chester Medical Center have announced they will strike starting Sunday, September 21st.

The walk-out will begin at 7:00 a.m. and last until 7:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 23rd.

The nurses' union and the hospital have been locked in contract negotiations since earlier this year.

Their contract officially expired in June.

Nurses picketed outside the hospital last week and claimed the hospital if violating federal labor law.
