A senior citizen was seriously injured when his bicycle collided with another in New Castle County.

ELSMERE, Del. (WPVI) -- A man who was seriously injured when his bicycle collided with another in New Castle County has died.

It happened near the intersection of Kirkwood Highway and Oak Avenue in Elsmere around 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31st.

Police tell Action News the 68-year-old man was unresponsive when rushed to Christiana Hospital. He died from his injuries three days later.

Police identified him as 68-year-old Phillip Morris of Wilmington.

There was no immediate word on the other cyclist's condition or what led to the collision.
