Driver hurt in pickup truck crash in Absecon, N.J.

ABSECON, N.J. -- The man is hospitalized after crashing his pickup truck in Absecon, New Jersey.

The accident occurred at 11:00 p.m. Thursday on Route 9 near Amy Lane.

Police say the driver of truck was traveling northbound on Route 9 when he lost control.

The truck went off the road and across a lawn before crashing into a bank of trees.

The driver was taken to the hospital with various injuries.

He is listed in stable condition.

Police are trying to determine if icy road conditions played a role in the crash.
