Fire damages home in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The American Red Cross is helping a family displaced by a fast-moving house fire in West Philadelphia.

The blaze broke out before 7:00 a.m. Wednesday in the 5100 block of Reno Street.

When firefighters arrived, they found heavy smoke coming from the 2nd floor.

It took them about a half hour to get the flames under control.

No one was hurt.

Fire investigators are working to pinpoint the cause.
