A firefighter was injured in a 2-alarm house fire in Reading, Pennsylvania.

READING, Pa. (WPVI) -- A firefighter was injured in a 2-alarm house fire in Reading, Pennsylvania.

The fire broke out around midnight Friday on the 500 block of Tulpehocken Street.

Heavy smoke and flames quickly sent the blaze to 2-alarms.

Officials say the house was vacant.

One firefighter suffered a minor injury.

The fire marshal was called to the scene to determine what sparked the blaze.
