Man critical after North Philadelphia shooting

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is in critical condition after a shooting in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:45 p.m. Thursday along the 1400 block of North 6th Street.

Initial reports are the victim was shot in the chest.

He was rushed to a nearby hospital for care.

At this time, no word on a suspect or motive.
