Man hospitalized after drive-by shooting in Willingboro, N.J.

WILLINGBORO, N.J. (WPVI) -- Police say a man was hospitalized after a drive-by shooting in Willingboro, New Jersey early Saturday morning.

The incident occurred around 12:30 a.m. on the 100 block of East River Drive.

The victim was struck several times after an unidentified man fired shots from a car then fleeing the scene.

Police say the victim was taken in a private auto to Lourdes Hospital for treatment.

So far, there is no word on what sparked the shooting and no arrests.

The victim's name has not been released.
