Man on lawnmower struck by car on Roosevelt Boulevard

RHAWNHURST (WPVI) -- A man riding a lawnmower was struck by a car along the Roosevelt Boulevard Tuesday morning.

The incident happened around 11:15 a.m. along the 7600 block of the Roosevelt Boulevard in Philadelphia's Rhawnhurst section.

The victim was taken to Frankford Aria Hospital for treatment.

There was no immediate word on his condition.

Police are investigating.
