Man shot in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A man is hospitalized after being shot in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 8:20 p.m. Monday at 24th Street and Montgomery Avenue.

Police say someone opened fire on the street, striking a 35-year-old man twice in the left side.

Responding officers rushed the man to Temple University Hospital for care.

No arrests have been made.
