SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are asking the public's help to identify a suspect who robbed a dollar store in South Philadelphia.
The robbery happened on October 16 at the Dollar General Store located on the 2100 block of South 23rd Street.
Surveillance from the scene shows the suspect entering the store shortly before 11 a.m.
He goes behind the counter with a hand inside his sweatshirt pocket simulating a gun.
The clerk opened the cash register drawer and the suspect fled with an undetermined amount of money.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, 40 years-old, 6'0" tall with a mustache. He was wearing a black hat with an unknown symbol or name on the front, eye glasses, a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
