Suspect sought in robbery outside club in South Philadelphia

Police are asking the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for an alleged robbery outside the Parx Turf Club in South Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 6 p.m. on April 6 on the 700 block of Packer Avenue.

Police say when a 64-year-old man exited the club, he was approached by an unknown male.

That male allegedly took the victim's Coach Bag containing $5,000, New Jersey driver's license, credit cards, and an access card.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.

He is described as a white male, heavy build, and short hair. He was wearing glasses, a red and black long sleeve shirt with blue jeans.
