VIDEO: Passengers escape moments before train hits bus
New video was released of a freight train slamming into a passenger bus in Georgia.

ATLANTA -- New video was released of a freight train slamming into a passenger bus in Georgia.

Miraculously everyone survived and is expected to be okay.

It happened on a MARTA bus in Atlanta.

The passengers say they knew a freight train was heading straight toward them after they heard the train's horn.

But the back end of the bus was still sitting on the tracks.

As the train got closer, all five passengers got up. They scrambled off the bus right before the collision.

One the train hit, the impact knocked the bus driver from his seat.

One man, who was knocked to the pavement by the door, was then hit by the spinning bus.

That passenger was the most seriously hurt but he is expected to make a full recovery.

The bus driver was the only person actually on-board the bus when the train collided but even he was able to get up and walk away.

The driver has been placed on leave pending the results of an investigation into how the bus became stuck on the tracks.
