Water main break in Cedarbrook

CEDARBROOK (WPVI) -- Firefighters were called to the scene of a water main break in the Cedarbrook section of Philadelphia.

It happened around 8:30 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Fayette Street and Wadsworth Avenue.

According to the Philadelphia Water Department, an 8-inch main broke.

About 60 properties were left without water service.

Officials plan to have everything repaired and service restored by Sunday evening.
