Man shot and collapses on Norristown street

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Police say a man was shot and managed to run a block before collapsing on a street in Norristown, Pennsylvania late Wednesday night.

The shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Pearl Street.

The victim ran a block and collapsed on Chain Street.

He was flown to Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.

So far, there is no word on his condition or information about potential suspects.

The victim's name has not been released.
