NCA&T students dead after party shooting
Greensboro police investigating fatal shooting on Circle Drive early Sunday morning.

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- North Carolina A&T State University Police issued a warning to campus Sunday morning after two students were fatally shot during a house party overnight.





Police say in a news release that someone began firing a gun during an altercation that started shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday.



Police say 19-year-old Alisia Dieudonne and 21-year-old Amhad Campbell were shot and taken to a hospital, where they were pronounced dead.



The school said on its Facebook page that Dieudonne was a sophomore computer science major from Homewood, Illinois. Campbell was a junior agriculture and environmental systems major from Kittrell, North Carolina.





According to the school alert, the suspect was seen leaving the area in a red vehicle.


The Greensboro Police Department said they were working with NCA&T police and administrators on the investigation.
