PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WPVI) -- Over 1,000 people braved the rain to run alongside the Schuylkill River today, all in the name of a healthy environment.
It's the 38th Annual Run for Clean Air, a certified green race that aims to produce zero waste with its compost and recycling initiatives.
The Clean Air Council hosts the event to complement its mission to "protect everyone's right to breathe clean air," said their Social Media Director, Katie Edwards.
