Philadelphia Heatline extended through Tuesday

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The Philadelphia Corporation for Aging (PCA) is extending its Heatline through Tuesday Aug. 16.

It will operate from 8:30 a.m. to midnight on Monday Aug. 15 and 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday Aug. 16.

Call 215-765-9040 for tips on coping with the heat and signs of heat stress.

Nurses from the Philadelphia Public Health Department are also on site to talk to callers as needed.
